CPS-card sketches #119..

Ooh yes.. It was such a warm and relaxing weekend.. Loved it.. Loved it because it was different, but ooh so like it used to be back in the days. I should really try and appreciate every moment I have, good or bad. I often forget enjoying my life because I'm too busy thinking. Yes, thinking !!! Thinking about everything and at the same time thinking nothing.. Filling my head with so many stuff yet at the end I have so much that it seems like I have nothing.. Take a deep breath, relax. Everything is gonna be alright :) So this is the first time I play in the CPS-card sketches challenge and I don't know why I haven't tried it before. I just love love this weeks sketch and I'm defenetely gonna use it in the future because it's very eye catching ;). Of course I struggled a bit with it at first because I have a limited amount of supplies ( cause I'm on vacation) but it turned out pretty cute, I think. I don't really like the Honey cardstock I used as a base, but it was either that or the color red. I have to buy me some cardstock, I know !!! Hope you enjoy my card and it's peculiar color combination. Here are the cute stuff I used: Paper: Coredinations Honey cardstock, Bo Bunny powder blue dot heavy weight cardstock, Imaginisce baby powder paterned paper Ribbon: Cream satin ribbon from craft store Rubbons: Melissa Frances vintage transfers Other: Glitter, scrapper's floss and sewing machine I cut a 3'' star and also 1'' letters that form the word 'B O Y' with my fabolous Making Memories Slice machine using the Basic 1 cartridge. I . As for the ribbon, I just sewed in the middle of it, and then I took the thread at the end and just pulled it while I push the ribbon the other side. I know you didn't understand my explanation, but that's the way I did it ;) Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your lovely comment. Have a great and amazing week, Love , FresaBonita
