Today I..

  • Discovered that doing as if you are not sick, isn't always the best idea. You get so weak after 2 days that you can barely write this post
  • Miss my grandma, but ain't not gonna call her cause I'm mad at her cause she doesn't ever call me
  • Got pushed very brutally aside in the train by a woman, but just couldn't confront her back
  • Finally sent in my job application letters for working at 2 of my favorite Craft Supply Stores
  • started making the banner of my new (coming soon ) blog ( can't work on it today anymore, too tired )
  • Got reminded that it is probably very difficult ( like meaning impossible ) to stop loving my adorable boyfriend, he is just too adorable
  • Made my feet hate me because I wore my high heel long boots ( how can such beauty cause so much pain ? )
  • Am so happy for all the lovely comments I got on this post ( You guys are just awesome !! )
  • Am so happy for yesterday..
Just cause I had the chance to make these :

Mini thank you cards I sent in with both my job application letters. Just to let them have a sneak at what I can do ;) The tag actually comes out and has a very glittery pink ''thanks'' sentiment on it. Yes I totally forgot to take pictures of that. Just as I forgot to make my card for the Cards blog Challenge with deadline; tomorrow. If I could only have a magic stick............

;)

A new start..

Hi there lovelies.. Hope you are having a great week so far.. I caught a bug, but besides that I'm doing very well myself. I try not to think about it, so that I can keep up with all the things I have to do.
I started this blog back in February just to have a place to share my new hobby, making cards, with the lovely people who came from the different challenges I used to play in. At that time I had heard about the blogging world, but was very sceptical about it because I didn't know if it was a good idea to share my things with people I didn't know. But it didn't take very long for me to realize that those people I didn't know where the most lovely and sweetest persons I've ever met. The fact that someone you don't know hops over to your place ( blog ) and leaves the sweetest word about you or your project just leaves you with the most heartwarming feeling. The more people came to my blog, the better I felt about what I was doing and the more exciting it got to have a blog. To make this story short, last month I got the most visitors and my cards also started to get noticed more and more. I made top 5 at the Get sketchy Challenge, 2 sketches 4 you challenge and I also got featured on the Cards blog challenge. These may be not the biggest accomplishments for most of you who have more years making cards or blogging, but for me its HUGE..! Therefore I decided to have a more determined purpose for my blog and also to make it a more friendly place for me and for you. I'm moving the blog to Typepad, which I think makes it easier for me to express myself, interact with my readers, and they have an excellent support service to help you whenever you needed and they respond to you very fast to ;) I'm gonna try to finish my renewed blog for the beginnig of next week, but I will announced that here when it's all done.
This post is called a new start not only for the moving of this blog, but also because I'm doing some changes in my life to. The past Sunday I had the most wonderful encounter in which I got renewed by my Savior. God has always been the most important force in my life since I was a little girl, but due to growing up, moving to Holland and numerous other things in my life, I took our relationship for granted and lost a huge part of my faith in him. Till last Sunday, when he grabbed me in his arms again and told me that everything was going to be alright. Last Sunday was the first time in a long time that I could say the words '' live is wonderful '' again. I never want to let that feeling go away again, God is good, he is wonderful to me and to you. No matter your believe, no matter what you think gives you strenght, I just hope you always believe ;)

I have a very busy week this week but I hope I can make something to share with you on the way.
Ooh and you know I'm not bragging but, I'm so happy my warmest wishes card made the top 5 at the 2 sketches 4 you challnege and also that my mini thanksgiving place cards were featured on the Card blog challenge. Super ha ?

Thank you so much for ( reading this long post if you did ) stopping by..
I'm leaving you with some happy images, hope you like them...

Today I Just..

wanted to say thanks.. Feeling gratitude is something that I've never failed to do and today is special. Special because of this:

This video was made for me by a very special person. Most of you might not understand the last part because it is in Dutch, but she wanted me to know that I can lean on her and that she is always here for me. I'm very grateful to have this girl in my life because she is truly an amazing friend. It's not been easy for me living here in Holland because I miss my family back in Curacao sooo much and I therefore go through lots of ups and downs. But today I can say I'm happy because I have a wonderful friend who makes me encouraging videos and also a wonderful boyfriend who is always there for me. I want them to know that I love them deeply, differently and forever.. Sigh, I'm very blessed.. :)
I usually don't do post like these, cause I think that this blog should not be about my personal life, but about Happy thoughts, creativity, inspiration and all positive. But I just had to express myself this way and say thank you..

Keeping up in the thank you mood, look at these Thanksgiving place cards I made for the Cards Blog Challenge:

Well I kind of don't celebrate Thanksgiving because it's not a tradition here or where I come from. But that didn't stop me to make these little cuties. So fun to make. Especially with great products like the ones I used. ( Check the Supply list ) All I can say is: '' ain't American Crafts Thickers fun ? ''
